
Larry Curtis
Larry Curtis is a nationally recognized leader in affordable and workforce housing, historical rehabilitation and sustainability. He is the President and Managing Partner of WinnDevelopment and a member of the Board of Directors.
Alongside WinnCompanies CEO Gilbert Winn, he has led multifamily development and acquisition activities for the company for decades, playing a critical role in helping the company grow from 3,000 units in 1986 to more than 116,000 units under management in 27 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
The son of a Long Island real estate attorney, Larry bought his first property when he was just 18 and is one of the few developers who is also a trained architect.
He is member of the faculty of Harvard’s Graduate School of Design as a lecturer in Real Estate. He is also a past president of the National Housing & Rehabilitation Association (NH&RA), a member of the Board of Directors for the National Multi-Housing Council, and a Trustee Emeritus of the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Board of Trustees.
