Juan Bueno
President of Operations
Bio:
Juan Bueno leads Cortland's Operations platform, overseeing the company's core business functions. He works across the organization to modernize operations, improve the experience of residents and associates, and elevate overall performance through the development and execution of enterprise strategies and operating plans.
Prior to joining Cortland, Juan served as U.S. President of Avison Young, where he led a transformation of the company's organizational structure, executed corporate acquisitions, and developed a five-year strategic growth plan. He previously served as Vice President of Sales at Home Depot Pro, overseeing more than 2,100 associates across four business units and implementing initiatives that drove sustainable growth. Juan began his career in management consulting with McKinsey & Company.
He earned his undergraduate degree from Universidad de Los Andes and his MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Juan is an active member of the Metro Atlanta Chamber and has served on several nonprofit boards, including Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Latin American Association.
